POSITION SUMMARY

In-country debit product Business Leader who will develop and implement the debit product strategy for Visa Indonesia in an effort to grow the key performance indicators of cards, payments volume, total volume, market share, PCE penetration, international cash and gross revenue targets. A primary focus is to engage with key debit issuers to develop and implement agreed strategic initiatives of the debit products portfolio in Indonesia.

JOB SCOPE

Grow Visa’s market leadership on debit in Indonesia by enabling continued growth of key clients. Achieve client specific product and volume targets as per agreed budget targets

Partner with business development mangers in identifying high potential new business opportunities to launch debit products and provide product support from the initial pitch to their public launch and in the ongoing development of the business

Deliver a calendar of market interventions in partnership with the key clients to maximize the impact of Visa’s marketing activities each year.

Drive technology and alliance partners and develop solutions / business opportunities that will provide value added services to Visa clients in an effort to support activation and usage programs.

Manage A&P initiatives and the relevant budgets associated with these items to ensure due process is followed and that initiatives are delivered on time and within agreed budget

Utilize industry, consumer purchasing behaviour, retail banking trend analysis and customer knowledge to seek out new business opportunities in Indonesia for the debit product category

Champion debit product strategy in Indonesia. Work with cross functional partners to ensure that debit considerations, programs and product pilots/ developments are top of mind

Partner with key business stakeholders within Visa to create programs that contribute competitive advantage and revenue growth to deliver the debit products revenue plan for Indonesia.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional

Degree in business management

Min 5 years Retail Banking experience.

Sales & Marketing Skills

Strong negotiating skills

Presentation skills

Payments Industry knowledge or experience

Good understanding of Visa Products and services

Strong appreciation of technology

Technical

Sound knowledge of banking and payment card systems and processes

Data processing and analysis

Financial management

Project management

Computer literate with PowerPoint, Excel, Word Outlook and internet skills

Business

Excellent Relationship Manager with general sales experience.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong relationship management skills.

Entrepreneurial with ability for initiative.

Self-driven, team player.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills
