Jakarta Role synopsis This role is the arbitrator on all technical issues in the area of delegated authority and provide advise on equipment maintenance, inspection, test frequencies and techniques for lifting. The incumbent is also expected to be the technical expert in Lifting Operations and communicate with Leadership to ensure risks of current status of Lifting are well understood.

responsible to complete the Regions Lifting assurance review. Key accountabilities - Accountable for completing the Regions Lifting assurance review.

• Facilitates the Regions Lifting OMS PiC gap assessment to the defined standard.
• Agrees the Regions Lifting gap assessment and recommends the Regions Lifting improvement plan.
• Provide advice and guidance in all matters relating to the Lifting Operations.
• Supports the development of the Lifting Segment Defined Practices.
• Coordinate the Lifting Community of practice.
• Provide quarterly feedback report to the Regional Leadership team describing the status of the lifting compliance, competency development, continuous improvement projects and action tracking specific to lifting
• Provide independence of expert judgment and technical overview for lifting operations
• Establish a system for providing technical expertise for the more difficult lifting operations at the facility. This includes the endorsement of the content of method statements, lifting plans and discussions with specialist engineers and contractors
• Providing independent input to the hazard identification and risk assessment of proposed ‘changes’ and provide necessary technical approval for relevant MoC’s
• Being the arbitrator on all technical issues in the area of delegated authority Advise on equipment maintenance, inspection, test frequencies and techniques for lifting
• Carry out competence assessments of relevant discipline staff in operations
• Establish the technical requirements for examination/inspection regime
• Provide a focal point to the SETA Lifting Advisor. Essential Education Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Essential experience and job requirements - Deep Industrial Lifting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Exposure to major project, offshore installation/hook up, land based & offshore drilling activities
• The candidate will have been a member of a Site Leadership team and would have had accountability for the application of the Lifting standards Desirable criteria & qualifications - High influencing skills
• Comfortable to intervene, escalate in addition to having good collaboration skills
• Actively participate in network to share learning & best practices
